15 Packs of Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Cards

Each sealed Original Artwork Collection Booster Box contains 15 booster packs, with 4 cards inside every pack.

That gives you 60 cards across the full box, drawn from a 100-card set featuring Ultra Rare, Super Rare and MANGA-STYLE Ultra Rare cards alongside numerous premium rarity variants. Konami notes that one box will not contain all 100 card types.

MANGA-STYLE Cards

The headline feature of the collection is the introduction of MANGA-STYLE cards.

These recreate the appearance of cards as they were depicted inside the original Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, giving collectors something very different from a standard modern OCG card design.

Konami confirms 30 MANGA-STYLE card types, with both monochrome and colour versions represented across the collection. These cards are also legal for official play and are treated as the same named cards as their regular OCG counterparts.

For anyone who collects Yu-Gi-Oh! for its history and artwork, these are arguably the defining feature of the release.

Iconic Monsters & Manga Moments

Original Artwork Collection reaches right back into the source material.

Konami describes the set as featuring monsters that played symbolic roles throughout the original manga alongside new cards inspired by memorable scenes — including moments from before card duelling became the central focus of the story through to the Ceremonial Battle near its conclusion.

That gives the set a strong nostalgic identity while still introducing genuinely new OCG cards and effects.

Serial-Numbered Grand Master Rares

At the very top of the collector chase are Grand Master Rare versions.

Ten Ultra Rare cards in the collection have Grand Master Rare treatments, and Konami confirms that each applicable card is individually serial numbered from 001 to 100. No two copies of the same card carry the same serial number.

That makes these exceptionally limited chase cards.

A Grand Master Rare is not guaranteed in any individual booster box.

Premium Rarities to Discover

Original Artwork Collection goes much further than its standard Ultra and Super Rare lineup.

Across the release you can find treatments including Secret Rare, Prismatic Secret Rare, Ultimate Rare, Collector’s Rare, Overframe cards and Grand Master Rare, alongside the MANGA-STYLE variants. Konami lists 38 cards with Prismatic Secret Rare versions, including 10 Overframe cards, while selected Super Rares also receive Ultimate Rare and Collector’s Rare treatments.

It gives collectors plenty to hunt for beyond simply completing the base checklist.

A 30th Anniversary-Year Manga Release

The original Yu-Gi-Oh! manga is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026, with official V Jump promotions explicitly marking the milestone. Original Artwork Collection arrived during those celebrations and focuses entirely on the original manga’s cards, characters and scenes.
